The Parish Council has been made aware that Gladmans Developers have now formally applied for planning permission for
in the neighbouring Parish of Foxhall, to the north and south of Bucklesham Road. As well as 2700 homes there are plans for a health centre, community hall, two primary schools, pharmacy, pub, sports and play areas and a number of small retail units.
Now planning permission has officially been sought, Bucklesham Parish Council have the opportunity to respond to the planning department at East Suffolk District Council and give your views.
Villagers will have an opportunity to share their thoughts, both positive and negative, and allow us to collate a balanced and constructive response from all opinions. With this edition of the Bugle, we enclose our Guide to Planning Applications which you may find helpful. We would encourage any villager who wishes to comment to contact the District Council individually by 26th June.
The views of the Parish Council hold no more or less weight than any other consultee.
